beach season

Posted in south carolina beaches at 4:10 pm by admin

The beach season is about to begin. I am deciding which beach I want to go to this year. My son wants to go back to Hilton Head Island and of course stay at the Weston Resort. He doesn’t like to stay anywhere else. I wouldn’t mind going to Charleston. I haven’t been there in awhile. However, I like a room with a view of the ocean so we’d have to stay at one of the area beaches like Folly beach or Isle of Palms. I like Charleston cause I am a history buff and Charleston has lots of historical places to visit both in town and nearby. A beach is pretty much like all other beaches so it really doesn’t matter much to me which beach we stay at. Hilton Head is about an hour away from Charleston. We didn’t finish exploring the area around Hilton Head Island last year so I might decide to go back there again this year. Savannah Georgia is a few minutes drive away. I’ve never been there and there is a lot of historical places here too. Whatever beach we decide on, it will be in South Carolina simply cause the South Carolina coast is about 4-5 hours away and the North Carolina coast is about 8 or more hours away from where we live.

Comment Spam

It is unbelievable that people still try to leave comment spam in this blog. They leave links to unrelated sites, nothing to do with any beach whatsoever. I have a spam catcher All I have to do is hit delete.  I check all comments before they are publish so I can keep this blog clean and on subject. Its funny how many people waste their time doing this.

Middleton Place has the oldest landscaped gardens in the US. Next to Middleton Place is the Audubon Swamp Garden with its Cypress and Tupelo Swamp.
