North Charleston is off I-26 along the Cooper river. The regional airport, train and bus stations are here. It has shopping and entertainment. There’s the coliseum which hosts sports and music events. There’s also a convention center here.

Cypress gardens is located in Moncks Corner near Charleston. There are about 170 acres here to explore. Take the flat-bottom boat tour of the cypress swamp. Visit the reptile house, the butterfly house and the aquarium. There are walking paths and black water lagoons. Its a beautiful place to see.

We wont be staying at the Weston in Hilton Head this year. There room cost nearly doubled from last year. So, I searched around and found a very reasonable rate at another resort in Hilton Head. As a result, we will be able to stay an extra day. The resort has a kitchen which will help save money on food because we wont have to eat out at a restaurant. The resort is located on the beach too. I dont see going to the beach if you cant see the ocean from your room. I dont like driving in a strange place either. I will review the resort and tell you about my trip after we get back.
