Bath NC coast attractions

Bath is the oldest town in NC. Blackbeard the pirate married a planter’s daughter from here. He also terrorized her and the area residents when he was in town. Anyway, you can tour the town which features a colonial home built in 1751, a home of a planter built in 1830 and another home built in 1790. There’s a museum which has exhibits on the history of the town. visit the visitor’s center first. It has guided tours and a video.

There’s more to see at Atlantic Beach NC than just the ocean. Visit Fort Macon State Park, the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and the Theodore Roosevelt Natural Area. Also nearby isĀ the colonial town of Beaufort and the Morehead City waterfront. Charter a boat for deep sea fishing in the gulf stream or take a ferry out to Cape lookout. Each of these attractions are well worth visiting. There are oceanfront resorts, hotels and more lodging available here. Atlantic beach have some beautiful beaches.

Emerald Isle North Carolina Crystal Coast

Emerald isle is on the Crystal Coast of NC. Its beautiful here with close to 20 miles of beaches. the area is dotted with small towns. You can find vacation rentals here. Rent oceanfront condos, townhouses, beach homes, cottagesĀ or book a hotel in Atlantic Beach or Morehead City. Take a ferry to Cape Lookout. Explore the beach. Look for seashells. Tour the colonial town of Beaufort.
