Topsail Island is a good family vacation spots with its many beautiful beaches. Come play in the surf and sun all day long. There are 26 miles of North Carolina beaches here. You can rent cottages, condos, luxury vacation homes and other rental properties for an unforgetable adventure at the beach. You can bring your dog too as many of these vacation homes are dog friendly. Go golfing, swimming, boating, hiking and shopping. Visit the Missiles and more Museum located on Channel Blvd @ Topsail Beach. See artifacts and displays from prehistory to present and including WWII. Topsail Island is a wonderful place to unwind and relax.

Carolina Beach State Park, NC

Carolina Beach State Park is located along the Cape Fear River @ 101 State Park Rd near Wilmington, Kure Beach, Fort Fisher, Wrightsville Beach and the town of Carolina Beach. The park covers 712 acreas. Hike trails to see rare Venus flytrap plants. Some consider Carolina Beach one of the best North Carolina beaches around. Its clean and well kept. The park is also in close proximity to the area’s attractions, restaurants and hotels. Go fishing, camping, picnicking, swimming and boating. Launch your boat from boat ramps and fuel up at fuel docks. This is a beautiful place to spend a romantic weekend getaway or a week long family vacation.
